Book Forum to Release
"Medicare's Midlife Crisis"
November 2001
Attend a Cato Institute book forum (or watch/listen via
the Internet) on Thursday, November 8 at 4:00 pm.
The Cato Institute is releasing the book "Medicare's Midlife
Crisis" by Sue A. Blevins, president of the Institute for
Health Freedom.
The Cato Institute has invited Daniel "Stormy" Johnson,
a past President of the American Medical Association and
Joseph Antos, a Resident Scholar at the American Enterprise
Institute, to comment on the book and suggest key policy
changes to reform Medicare today. This should be an informative
and lively discussion.
Cato book forums and receptions are free of charge. To
register for this event (and the reception to follow), call
Julie Johnson by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, at (202)
789-5229, fax her at (202) 371-0841, or e-mail to jjohnson@cato.org.
